Marina Baliakina

Hi! 

My name is Marina Baliakina, and I’m a photographer and media creator.
I live in Toronto, Canada, but I am originally from Russia. 

I’ve been photographing people for over 5 years and creating art since I was a kid.
For the last 2 years, I’ve been carrying out photoshoots for clients in different spheres — personal portraits, couples, weddings, fashion brands and more.

I’m passionate about meeting different people and telling their stories through my photography.

I’m also a Humber College student finishing a Media Communications diploma and currently studying Multimedia Design & Development.


My approach

For me, your comfort is a priority. 

I want you to feel at ease and enjoy the process, so I always strive to create a friendly and worry-free environment during my photoshoots. I help with every aspect — preparation, studio/location selection, wardrobe choices, poses and any other questions. Photoshoot is a collaboration, and your opinion is of high value to me. During the process, I listen closely to your needs and concerns, show you the images, and act on your feedback.
